Product Description

About Product

2,4-D Main by ADAMA is a systemic post-emergence herbicide containing 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL, widely used for the control of broadleaf weeds in various cereal crops like wheat, maize, sorghum, and non-crop areas.
It mimics natural plant hormones (auxins) and causes uncontrolled growth in weeds, ultimately leading to their death. It is cost-effective, fast-acting, and safe for grassy crops when used as directed.

2,4-D Main Technical Details

  • Technical Content: 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL

  • Formulation: Soluble Liquid (SL)

  • Mode of Action: Acts as a synthetic auxin – interferes with plant cell division and elongation in broadleaf weeds, causing malformation and death.

  • Entry: Systemic – absorbed through leaves and translocated throughout the plant.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Broad-spectrum control of a wide range of broadleaf weeds.

  • Systemic action – kills weeds from the inside out.

  • Safe for cereal crops (selective action on broadleaf weeds).

  • Provides faster knockdown of susceptible weeds.

  • Economical and effective solution for large-acreage weed control.

  • Suitable for row crops and non-crop areas.
