Product Description
About Product
Weedblock by ADAMA is a selective, systemic post-emergence herbicide based on Imazethapyr 10% SL, designed to effectively control a wide spectrum of grassy and broadleaf weeds in soybean, groundnut, pulses, and other leguminous crops.
It is absorbed through both leaves and roots, providing long-lasting residual activity, and helps protect crops from early weed competition to boost yield and crop health.
Weedblock Technical Details
-
Technical Content: Imazethapyr 10% SL
-
Formulation: Soluble Liquid (SL)
-
Mode of Action: Inhibits ALS (Acetolactate Synthase) enzyme, which is essential for amino acid synthesis in weeds. This blocks protein formation and halts weed growth.

Improves crop yield by reducing early-stage weed competition.
-
Compatible with other herbicides – suitable for tank mix (perform compatibility test before mixing).
-
Rainfast within 6 hours of spraying.
